A Review of the documentary film "Beyond Treason"

I realize that I am a latecomer to the 9/11 Truth Movement and the Impeachment Movement. Perhaps I am watching videos and reading material that many of you have watched and read years ago.

Be that as it may, I just watched BridgeStone Media Group’s Beyond Treason yesterday.

I have not recovered.

I am unable to do any operations involving thinking or even organizing. I have slept most of the day, more because I could not lift myself out of bed than because I needed rest.

The video is about the manner in which the United States military treats its soldiers and its “enemies.” Some of the points made that finally did me in have to do with the use of internationally-banned depleted-uranium (DU) weapons.

Doug Rokke, the medical officer assigned the post-invasion "clean-up" that was later found to be poisoned and Learen Moret from Lawrence Livermore Labs  were the two sources who discussed DU weapons with the most authority.

What they said was that DU weapons were used in Yugoslavia , Afghanistan , and Iraq . Where they have been used, they have basically irradiated the area forever … or for a billion years, whichever comes first.

Once the DU shell bursts, the DU is converted into a dust that settles on the area and makes it unfit for human habitation or anything else. I am not aware that those weapons were used in Baghdad and other urban centers but one horrifying development suggests that the DU has spread to urban centers.

That development is all the Iraqi babies born with terrible deformities like one eye, malformations of every description, no limbs, etc.

If you got through the pictures of them, it showed the same horrors with American babies born of soldiers who were contaminated by DU dust, transferred via their semen to their spouses. (Their spouses also later suffered from contamination.)

In the first Gulf War, it stated that the Iraqi chemical and biological storage site was located. The weapons were all imported from the United States , Britain , Russia , and Jordan . The only way to hide this fact was to blow up the dumps. However doing so contaminated all the soldiers downwind of the huge blasts.

It detailed the troubles that returning soldiers have had from so-called “Gulf War Syndrome,” which is nothing else but contamination by DU and chemical and bacteriological agents. Ten-thousand soldiers have died as of whenever the film was made (I think 2004) and 250,000 are debilitated.

Given that these soldiers are dead or dying because of actions taken by the U.S. military, does it not rather look like the United States is prepared to expend, kill off, or lose an army a conflict?

Given that officers were told to tell their men, and did tell them, that chemical alarms going off were malfunctions and that the troops were not to don their chemical gear, does it not seem as if the military does not care for its personnel?

This is an execution where officer after officer comes up to the dead victim and fires off another coup de grace.

Here is one coup de grace. The manufacturer of the chemical gear made a sloppy job of it and most gear did not work. The manufacturer fled into bankruptcy. But the soldiers were the ones who suffered.

Here is another. One donning and doffing of the chemical gear and it was no longer of any further use. It would have been contaminated once it was taken off. Did no one think of this?

And another. There were warnings prior to the Gulf War about the dangers of DU weapons but no one in command paid any attention.

And another. The Veterans Administration made it as hard as possible for anyone to claim benefits as the result of “Gulf War Syndrome.” They denied tests on leaving the States; they denied tests on returning. They made the individual prove that they had something and then prove the connection between that condition and the war. When a soldier retired from the service, his wife and family, who had also been infected and affected, were cut off from benefits.

And a last - the real - coup de grace. The military tried out experimental vaccines on soldiers which themselves also caused grievous, debilitating effects.

One soldier recalled with irony how, when he went into the recruiter’s office, the recruiter said that, if the soldier was hurt in any way in combat, “we will take care of you.” In his case, as in that of countless thousands, the VA did not.

How did all this get started and how will it be stopped?
